2021 Community Impact Report

This year inspired creative solutions, strengthened connections and fostered economic growth for Research Triangle Park and the state of North Carolina. During a time of uncertainty for many businesses, organizations including Apple, Eli Lilly, Duke University, Fidelity Investments and Toshiba initiated or expanded investments in RTP, adding jobs, square footage, or both.

The Research Triangle Foundation exists to empower these organizations to focus on their work by making thoughtful investments, strategic partnerships and amenities that benefit employees, universities and our region. Among the major milestones listed below are the grand opening of Boxyard RTP, our growing community of innovators at Frontier RTP, and what we’re looking forward to as construction on the Hub RTP mixed-use development continues.
